First off, Happy New Year! I know it's been over a month since I last posted a comic. I'd figured out a schedule to update the comic, but I'm sure you won't be happy with it. The comic will be updated monthly. It sucks, but it's better than nothing right? I would like to thank Travis, Keith, and Tystarr for the guest comics. Thanks for the love fellas.

There's still an opening for guest comics from now on, but I'm gonna get this storyline finish first. That's a promise. So enjoy the comic and I'll see you next month around the 19th, okay?

Have a good one.

I'm gonna be really busy in the matter of weeks, and I don't want my comic to go on hiatus. I will still post comics, but if I'm not able to get to it, I would love to post guest comics from you! Yes you!

You don't have to be an awesome artist. This is for everyone. I will give you credit and link my readers to whatever website that you desire. Once again, this is open to EVERYONE. You don't have to be my best bud.

I do have a few rules:
1. No profanity (unless it's "hell" or "ass").
2. No hentai (Joe is too young to be getting his freak on).
3. You must use my characters.
4. All comics must be 750 x 580.

Other than that, it's all good! Send your comics to michelleDOTbillingsleyATgmailDOTcom.

I can't promise you when I will post the your comic, but when I do, I will notify you a day in advance. That's my word!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Starting Monday is Eyeskream Comic Swap week! I have to make a guest comic for one of my fellow Eyeskream buddies, so, I can't begin on my comic until think get this guest comic out of the way. OMG this is tough y'all.

Of course, I've done a guest comic once, but I really have to think about this one that I'm doing. I give props to EVERYONE who does guest comics in a blink of an eye, especially Ryan Estrada. That man is on fire! If only I had his energy and creative writing.

In closing, there's no comic this week peeps. Come back next FRIDAY, will ya? I will have a guest comic from one of my Eyeskream buds. I'm pretty excited to see who will be drawing my characters.

See you next week!

50!

Michelle

This week marks my 50th comic! I look back to when I started Joe and I'm amazed how my art has improved. Some of you may not know this, but I started my comic when I was 13. After high school, I sent my strip into a syndication and got rejected (like everyone). Looking back on it, I can't blame the editors for rejecting it. The comic needed work, and I was way too young. By 21, I got an idea to post my comics online. Little did I know, there was a collection of comics published on the internet.

The first webcomic I read was "Dog Complex", and that led me to my favorite webcomics that I enjoy to this day. If it wasn't for the internet, I would've never got a chance to publish 50 comics and know some awesome people.

So here's to 50 more Joe comics! I would make a toast, but it's too damn early for alcohol.

Thanks to everyone who make time to stop by for a reading. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.

Peace.

As I mentioned lastweek, I am experimenting with the latest comic. I wanted to see how well I would do without having so much lineart in the comic. I think I still need more practice, but it looks good to have up. Can't wait to see what I do with the 50th strip. I don't even know.

I was informed by a friend that it would be a month since I last posted a comic. The thought of it surprised me. I knew it was a while since I made one, but not a month! Time waits for nothing, I tell you.

Of course I was resting my hand and it's pretty well, so it's time for me to get back on the saddle. With that in being said, a new comic is posted.

I would like to thank those of you who continued to visit the site. Since I was on hiatus, I got a few more pageviews. Thanks for not giving up on me. I appreciate it.

Oh! If you notice something a little different about Tonya, I gave her a new bang. That's all for now. See you soon.

Hey y'all. It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted on here. I really don't have anything to say, but I posted the newest comic. I really like how this one turned out. Terry is one of my favorite characters to draw, so I've been up since this morning coloring the strip. It usually takes me 6 hours to color, but this took a whole day! Geez. The comic will now be on Saturdays, starting June 23rd. Y'all are probably getting tired of the filler art, but it's better than nothing, right? My good buddy Roy happened to draw the lines for me once again, and I colored.

I kept my promise, didn't I? I hope that you like it. In this comic, I wanted to let readers see the softer side of Joe. He has a weak spot for his little sister. The way the story is going, some strips will not be funny, but enjoyable.

Just so you know, next week will be filler art. Like I mentioned a few days ago, I have to get a few comics completed for Eyeskream's Magazine. I'm off. See you soon.

I had the most overwhelming week y'all. I will talk about it in my newest blog site. I'll catch you up on what's been happening with me.

Anyway, the 42nd comic will be posted on Wednesday, May the 9th. I was gonna post the comic late last Wednesday, but my internet went down for 3 days, and a few hours ago it just came up. Charter sucks. I think I'm gonna make a move to DSL. It makes no sense to post it up Sunday. I hope you're patient.

After the 42nd comic, there will probably be filler art. The week of the of 14th looks busy for me, since I have to complete a few comics for the Eyeskream Magazine. The deadline is coming up sooner than I thought.

See you Wednesday!

Sorry, that I posted the comic so late today. I was doubting to post it. I had to talk to a couple of friends about the comic, to see if it was worthy of posting, and they all agreed that it was.

I've had this idea for sometime in my head, after seeing Scott's comic. I guess, our sense of humor is a little bit twisted. We're making political statements, while keeping it funny. You gotta admit, dressing like a KKK member for Halloween IS scary.

If you're regular visitors to my Deviant Art page, you have seen this comic in my gallery before.

This is dedicated to The Boondocks. If you heard the recent news, you will know that Aaron McGruder has decided to keep his comic on hiatus. He was set to come back this month, but all good things must come to an end, or does it?

A few people told me that my character Joe is similar to Huey Freeman. I beg to differ, so I had to make a strip about it. This is a comic I did months ago. Seems like it's the appropriate time to post it here.

For some of you who don't know, my hometown's Little League team are the new WORLD champions! I'm thrilled that these kids had represented for a city in Georgia that some of the nation (even world) has never heard of. Well NOW they do! Congratulations, boys!

By the way, I have NOT forgotten about the comic. It's all sketched, ready to be inked. I'll get to it later. It's off the school I go for now.

Until next time,
Billingsley. Out.

So I finally got around with making a real website. If you read my comic once before, you'll know that I've been on hiatus since February 2005 (I think it was that). I've returned with a mission. This mission is to make JOE! as popular as the top webcomics on the internet. Everybody and their mama has a webcomic, so I definitely need to get back to what I started.

I also have a couple of things to add
If you are reading this and you have a comic of your own, with the knowledge of creating blogs - I want you! I so need a blog. I have tried using b2evolution and cutenews, but I have no idea how to run them.So if you're helpful, I would absolutely appreciate your assistance.

- No Forum.
I know that you're seeing a forum button, but I don't have one. The only way I will put up a forum is by popular demand (or I get tired of answering the same questions over and over), but feel free to email me anytime.

- And another thing
You're gonna see a lot of my old comics within the archive. I'll admit, they're not that good. I'm too lazy to draw them over. You know how procrastinators are, right?

Well, that about does it. I hope you enjoy my comic as much as I do.

Until next time,
Billingsley. Out.
